At HC Elite Athletics, we believe in creating a fun, positive, and supportive environment where athletes of all ages can thrive in non-traditional sports. Founded by Katie and Stephen, HC Elite Athletics was born from a shared dream—Katie’s passion for competitive cheer and Stephen’s entrepreneurial spirit.
Guided by our core values of Encouragement, Learning, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence, we strive to build not only strong athletes but also confident, resilient individuals. Our coaching philosophy centers on positive reinforcement while inspiring athletes to step out of their comfort zones and achieve their goals.

Stephen Dotson
Owner/Chief Encouragement Officer
I have managed/coached people all of my career and have been a part of coaching youth sports for the last 5 years.
I understand the demands of competitive sports and the training it takes to compete in select sports. I also understand the “burn out” many athletes feel at such a young age.
My goal is to bring back the joy in all athletic play and prepare athletes to enjoy the process over the trophy.
Katie Dotson
Owner / Head Cheer Coach
I cheered in MS and HS in TX and was a 3x high school NCA All-American and 4-yr All-Star cheerleader that competed with one of the premiere All-Star gyms.
I’ve won 3 National titles while competing in All-Star cheer - NCA, UCA and Cheer America. I have experience as an athlete and a coach - while at Baylor University I judged tryouts and small competitions with NCA and coached two teams at an All-Star program in Waco, TX.
After college, I taught 7th grade English and was the cheer coach for the competitive and sideline cheerleaders at the middle school.
I understand the life and demands of a competitive cheerleader, both on and off the mat, and I’m passionate about fostering athleticism, teamwork, and personal growth with every athlete!
OUR FACILITY
Welcome to HC Elite Athletics, we boast an expansive 9,100 square-foot facility with 7,000 square feet dedicated to our tumbling and Ninja activities. Your athletes will have plenty of room to explore their new talents. Parents can relax or get some work done in our two-story, 2,100 square-foot observation area while their siblings can take advantage of the reading and game nook.
For our tumblers, we have a full competition cheer mat, 30ft rod floor and a 30ft Tumbl Trak trampoline with landing mats.
We have a 40ft x 70ft area dedicated to NINJA and Parkour with an endless amount of interchangeable obstacles for weekly variety and challenges.
